Supporting Dementia Awareness – The Gathering

The Clay People Gathering was an important part of my Art School Practice. I now want them to serve a purpose. At the craft fairs, I attend over 2019, I will be donating half the proceeds from the sale of the Clay People to Alzheimer Scotland (Action on Dementia).

My grandmother suffers from Vascular Dementia; she has a group of the Clay People in her living room. The Clay People connect her and me beyond memory loss and confusion.

In February 2020 – I presented a check to the Dingwall branch of Alzheimers Scotland for £375
