Muir Skyline – Youth Highland organisation project
James and art student Alice Prentice volunteered on a project for the Youth Highland organisation – Art Box. The projects aims were to enable young local artists to take the lead in offering art activities to other young people in their community. The project was a year-long initiative that involved creative discussion, creative input and ideas for the creation of a metal sculpture of the Muir of Ord skyline. James then refined their ideas and designed/crafted a four-section steel sculpture; the sculpture is relief mounted on a black wooden board frame. The piece is titled: Muir Skyline.
The sculpture can be viewed at the Muir Hub, Village Square, Muir of Ord.
